The slide closure actually works — bumpy bus rides and my bag tossing around in the back seat, zero spills. Coffee stays hot nearly as long as with the open lid. Exactly what I hoped for.

I keep this on my 16 oz tumbler at my desk. Slides open with one hand, seals well when closed. It's leak-resistant, not fully leakproof, so I don't toss it in my bag sideways — but for splash protection it's excellent.

Liked the first one so much I ordered a second for my 22 oz. Hot drinks stay hot noticeably longer with the slider closed. The black finish still looks new after months of dishwasher cycles.

The sliding mechanism was quite stiff out of the box and loosened up after a week of use. Fits my mug well and keeps heat in. Just expect a break-in period.

Keeps my coffee from sloshing in the car and holds temperature well. Not a substitute for a screw-on travel lid, but it isn't marketed as one. Solid buy.

I'm 68 and twisting small lids was getting hard. This presses in easily and the wide slider is simple to operate with one hand. My daughter set it up on my mug and it's been perfect ever since.

Fits my 22 oz tumbler perfectly. Took a moment to realize it does NOT fit my 32 oz wide mouth — that's on me for skimming. Build quality is typical Hydro Flask, which is to say great.

Loved it initially but the sliding tab developed a crack and now won't stay shut. I only hand washed it, so I expected better durability. Customer service is sending a replacement, which is why this isn't one star.
