No. They're high heat and break resistant serving spoons, but they are not designed for direct grill use.
Yes, both spoons are dishwasher safe and BPA-free.
They're sturdier than basic plastic camp spoons, stack compactly for travel, and won't scratch cookware like metal can.
These spoons have become a permanent fixture in my camp kitchen bin. The slotted one drains pasta and lifts burgers out of the skillet without carrying grease, and the solid one is great for stirring chili or serving rice. The high-heat material hasn't warped or melted even when I left the slotted spoon resting against a hot pan. For $10, this set is a steal.
Sturdy, lightweight, and easy to clean. Exactly what I needed.
Bought these for our annual family camping trip and they held up through three days of heavy cooking. My kids even used them as actual dinner spoons when we forgot utensils. I do wish they had hanging loops for drying, but the break-resistant material means I'm not worried about them snapping in the gear bag. Good value at the discounted price.
I keep these in my RV drawer and they've handled everything from scrambled eggs to a big pot of stew. The handles are comfortable and the material feels tougher than typical plastic serving spoons. Only reason it's not five stars is that the spoon bowls are a bit shallow for serving large portions of saucy dishes. Still, at this price I'd buy a second set.
The solid spoon is excellent — thick, sturdy, no complaints. The slotted one flexes slightly when I'm lifting heavy food like a whole chicken off the grill pan, though it hasn't cracked. They clean up easily and survived the dishwasher fine. Decent value overall, just manage expectations if you're cooking heavy cast-iron meals.
