Stanley 1913 Wildfare Pro Saucepan Cookset – 5-Piece Tri-Ply Stainless Steel Camp Cookware Set with 2 QT Saucepan and Vented Strainer Lid

I do a lot of camp cooking and a proper saucepan is the piece most camp kits skip. This one is tri-ply, so sauces and oatmeal don't scorch the way they do in thin camp pans. The vented strainer lid drained pasta beautifully without a separate colander, and the whole kit nests tight. Used it for a week straight in the Adirondacks and it still looks new. Half off this quality feels almost unfair.

Quality is outstanding and the 2 QT size is perfect for two people. Just know that for a family of four you'll be cooking in batches. If it's mostly for two, this is the best camp saucepan I've used.

I work in kitchens and I'm picky about pans. The tri-ply construction heats evenly over a flame with no hot spots, and the handle geometry is well thought out. This is real cookware that happens to be packable, not toy camp gear.

The build quality is genuinely good, no argument there. I bought this thinking it was the larger cookset and the 2 QT saucepan just doesn't work for my group size. My rating reflects the sizing mismatch, not the product. Read the specs carefully before ordering.

Been using this all summer for camp rice, mac and cheese, and morning grits. Nothing sticks, nothing burns, and the strainer lid is smarter than I expected it to be. Packs down small in the camp box.

The saucepan cooks beautifully and cleanup is quick. My one caveat is the lid handle heats up faster than I'd like over a high flame, so keep a mitt handy. Otherwise this is a five-star piece of gear and a great deal at this price.
